RVFC Coaches, Players & Parents
As some of you may be aware Balloon Fiesta Park is closing for 3 weeks
starting next week which causes us some problems with field space for
practice.
Please review the attached documents and be sure to pass on any changes to
your parents/players. We have had to ammend some practice times for some
groups to accomodate all of our teams. (Teams of high school ages will
practice earlier as those players finish school early and for the most part
can drive, younger teams may have a later session as they do not get out of
school earlier enough to start at 3.30 or 4pm). On the field maps please
note your location and be courteous to other teams around you with the
amount of space you use for sessions.
On certain evenings at ADO there will be an older team starting practice at
4pm and finishing at 5.30pm - again please be accomodating with field
spacing.
Teams who have fitness training on Tuesday or Wednesday will now attend
those sessions at ADO (same times as when held at BFP).
Wednesday and Friday GK sessions will move to ADO #1 (from 5.30-7pm). Sunday GK sessions will now be at Aztec Park/Madison MS (3-4pm for U15-18G teams).
Any questions please let me know. These maps & allocations will come into
effect next week and last for 3 weeks, afterwhich everyone will go back to
their current times/locations etc.

Congratulations to Rio Vista Alumnus Cory Dean who helped win the National DII Soccer Championship in Tampa Fla. this past weekend with the Fort Lewis.
Congratulations to Rio Vista FC 92 player Jennifer White and Rio Vista FC 92 player Carson Baldinger on their selection to the NSCAA/Adidas High School All America teams this past weekend. The All-America selections will be recognized at the annual All-America Luncheon, held in Philadelphia, Pa., on Jan. 16, as part of the 2010 NSCAA Convention. These prestigious awards are a reflection of a great year of high school soccer and years of hard work and dedication on the part of these two outstanding athletes. Congratulations.
