6th Annual Rio Vista F.C. Golfing for Goals Tournament Dear Rio Vista Football Club Parents and Supporters: Rio Vista Football Club (RVFC) will hold its 6th Annual “Golfing for Goals” Golf Tournament on Sunday, May 2nd, 2010 at Arroyo Del Oso Golf Course. This is a huge venture and this year more than ever, we need your help to make it successful!! In order to reach our goals, the Club is asking every team to participate and help with finding golf teams and sponsorships. Our goal is for each RVFC team to provide the following:
Through donations and fundraising events, RVFC has been able to provide scholarships to many soccer players that would perhaps otherwise not get to play. In the past year, 63 scholarships for a total of $22,775 (that is an average of $362 per scholarship) were given out. Additionally, the Club uses donations and the proceeds from our fundraisers to offset the costs of providing the highest quality soccer coaching in New Mexico. Your donations have and will continue to help provide our players with this high-quality level of coaching. The proceeds from the tournament also allows the Club to:
