Tournament Recommendations
Indoor Clinic
The following guide provides a list of competitive tournaments held throughout the country. We believe it would be very beneficial for Rio Vista F.C. to have teams attend certain tournaments on a consistent basis at certain points during their development. By using the list as a guideline, we hope to increase our club’s stature through a greater Rio Vista F.C. team presence at these events. Additionally this guide should help ensure our players are confronted with appropriate competitive environments at the appropriate points in their development.
We also believe that a stronger presence of teams at tournaments can also benefit the team’s coaches, players and parents. These benefits can include:
-
Financial discounts (group bookings, hotels, tourney fees…etc)
-
Encourage relationships between similar age players and team parents
-
A Coaching support network
-
A player support network
-
The ability to provide age related topics and tactical/psychological/informational sessions for players away from the fields.
The lists are provided as guidelines to coaches of teams that will travel and compete outside of the Albuquerque area. The tournaments provided will be grouped according to the competitive levels our coaches have previously experienced at these events.
