Rio Vista FC Soccer School -
U5 through U10s
The Rio Vista FC Soccer School has developed a strong reputation for developing players U5 through U10 and graduating players to the competitive teams and programs of Rio Vista FC.
Our experiences with players in these age brackets have led us to develop a clear philosophy on what it takes to develop a soccer player. The cornerstones of our program are:
- Coaching & Education - Training sessions are designed based upon the philosophy of the United States Soccer Federation National Youth License curriculum and the New Mexico Youth Soccer Association Youth Modules. Our coaching staff is provided the proper training to successfully incorporate these methods in the Soccer School.
- Parent Education - We all want our players to succeed on the field and develop confidence through the sport of soccer. Helping parents understand the path to player success and the role that they can play in that development is a key component in our program.
- Age and Gender Specific Coaching Curriculum - Our experience with Soccer School players has given us a clear picture of what players should be doing at certain stages in their development. With this in mind our, experienced staff will follow a curriculum that is both age and gender appropriate in order to provide all players the opportunity to develop in a challenging, yet fun environment.
- Player Safety & Welfare - Providing a safe & supportive environment for our players is a fundamental part of our program. Our coaches are picked carefully to provide the supportive environment that every young player needs.
- Fun - We want to develop players that love the game. A passion for the sport of soccer is developed when the players and coaches enjoy what they are doing. Our environment is created with this in mind.
