RVFC Alumnus Notice:
Tony and Jane Ogburn lost their 17 year old son, Alex, this past week to cancer. He had been fighting it for the past nine months. Tony and Jane brought over and started the RVFC 94 Venom team several years ago, which their daughter Mallory played on up until this season. Alex played soccer, was a referee, played for Rio Vista FC for 3 years (1yr on the RV Select 94 and 2yrs with the Rampage) and was of course part of our soccer family.
If anyone would like to do something for the family or give them anything, they requested that people make a donation to the Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico. This organization works very hard to make the children’s and families’ hospital stays more tolerable and enjoyable.

RVFC Team of the Week:
The RVFC Coyotes Yellow team gave back to their community by helping out at the Roadrunner Foodbank just before Christmas. The girls and their families spent time organizing food for the hungry and underprivileged families of Albuquerque. The girls were able to have a fun time together and the parents were able to socialize, all while giving back to the community. The team learned that teamwork and hard work pay off not only on the field, but in life as well. Good job Coyotes, keep up the good work!! Click Here for photos.
