| COMPETITION TEAMS (U11-U19)
It is our commitment to offer every team and every player within the club exposure to top quality professional coaching. It is the club's aim to ensure that each player and coach has the opportunity to interact and work alongside our professional coaching staff in order to develop the player and team to a highly competitive level. Many of the techniques and ideas used at the club have been developed and perfected across Europe and have proven to be successful and enjoyable to players and coaches alike.
The Rio Vista FC offers several track options to all competition teams within the club.
The Team Track option will provide players with basic skills improvement and team development opportunities. In contrast, the Club Track option provides more constant and intense skills training and professional coaching. The Double Club Track provides each team with a full-time professional coach.
The Academy Track program at U11 & U12 age groups is now offered to ensure all Rio Vista FC players in these age groups are exposed to most qualified and experienced coaches each season. The introduction of small sided soccer has seen an increase in the number of teams and coaches in the U9 through U12 age groups. Rio Vista FC feels it is critical each player is given every opportunity to succeed. This in mind Rio Vista FC will assign each team a full time coach with the experience and qualifications to provide a great learning environment for the team and player. In addition our most qualified and experienced coaches will work with each team in the age group each season and monitor player development to ensure all players are being developed in preparation for the Adidas One program offered at U13.

Rio Vista Fall Program U15-U18
Rio Vista FC is offering High School aged players the opportunity to play Club soccer throughout the fall season. It has been brought to our attention that some competitive players feel that playing high school is not beneficial to their personal development or provide them with enough of a competitive environment. Dependant upon numbers, we are planning to have a pool of players who we will place into two teams. We will set up practices and scrimmages to match the ability and needs of both teams. In previous seasons we have traveled to Arizona and Colorado to play against regionally and nationally ranked club teams. Plans to enter a tournament will be addressed once teams have been formed.
We will hold two informational meetings in June to explain the program and its objectives in greater detail. All families of High School age players are welcome.

Our goal is to develop young players who are technically capable. The coaching program will develop U5-U8 players who are more flexible, coordinated, and mentally alert/aware while teaching the basic technical skills required to play the game. For U9/U10 the program will look to build on and develop the solid foundations implemented in the younger ages, while also providing the players with a better understanding of the game. By the end of U10 we hope to develop soccer players that have solid technical foundations, be coordinated and have an understanding of the game ready for U11 soccer.
