Rio SC in Albuquerque, NM invites you to participate in the 2012 Rio Open held August 25-26, 2012 at the Soccer Complex in Bernalillo, NM, home of the 2010 US Youth Soccer Far West Region Championship. With beautiful grass fields and over 300 days of sunshine a year, the Rio Open provides an ideal venue for teams to prepare for the upcoming fall league season.
Divisions/Format:
- U8 4v4 30 min. games
- U9/U10 6v6 40 min. games
- U11/U12 8v8 50 min. games
- U13/U14 11v11 60 min. games
Gold and silver brackets if needed. Up to 4 guest players allowed. Roster size: 8 for U8, 10 for U9/U10, 14 for U11/U12, and 18 for U13/U14. Birth data of oldest player determine age group, (i.e. oldest player for U14 is Aug 1, 1998). Awards for 1st and 2nd place teams.
Entry fee:
- U8 $225 for 3 games min.
- U9/U10 $275 for 3 games min.
- U11/U12 $375 for 3 game min.
- U13/U14 $450 for 3 game min.

- All Registration Fees charged upon receipt. Teams will be notified by E-mail of acceptance within 2 weeks of receipt of Registration
- Fees and no later than August 11th, 2012. Refunds will not be given after a team is accepted. Any teams not accepted will receive a full refund.
- Any application submitted without appropriate fee is incomplete and will not be considered until the fee is received
- Registration deadline is August 4, 2012. Complete applications received after the entry deadline accepted on a space-available basis.
Tournament Hotels:
Rio SC will be partnering with area hotels to offer special rates to our tournament attendees. Contact information will be made available soon.
