Rio Vista FC invite you to participate in the 4th Annual Rio Open to be held August 29-30, 2009 at the State Farm Soccer Complex Bernailillo, NM. The Rio Open is a great way for teams to prepare for the upcoming fall league season.

 Divisions/Format:

  • U8 4v4 30 min. games
  • U9/U10 6v6 40 min. games
  • U11/U12 8v8 50 min. games
  • U13/U14 11v11 60 min. games

Gold and silver brackets where needed, with a 3 game minimum.

Up to 3 guest players allowed. Roster size: 8 for U8, 10 for U9/U10, 14 for U11/U12, and 18 for U13/U14.

Awards for 1st and 2nd place teams.

Entry fee:

  • U8 $150 for 3 games min.
  • U9/U10 $275 for 3 games min.
  • U11/U12 $325 for 3 game min.
  • U13/U14 $350 for 3 game min.

Application deadline: Entry Deadline: August 10, 2009

  • Entries received after the entry deadline will be accepted on a space-available basis
  • Entries must include completed entry form and fee. Incomplete entries will not be considered
  • Entry fee will be refunded to any team not accepted for competition
  • Teams will be notified of acceptance by E-mail not later than August 17th, 2009 Refunds will not be given after a team has been accepted
  • Entries will not be accepted over the telephone or fax
  • Any application submitted without the appropriate fee will be classed as incomplete and will not be considered until the fee is received
  • This tournament will be enforcing a stay to play policy and Rio Vista FC has worked with ABQ Housing to bring you hotel options to keep rates competitive for our out of town tournament attendees.
